Where are Sarto shoes made?

Every one of our shoes is individually handcrafted in Spain.
Yes! Each one of our shoes are custom to the preference of the customer. Follow the link on the product page to customize the style of your shoe.
About 3-6 weeks is the usual production time. The shoes you are purchasing are made-to-order, so every part of them will be handcrafted exclusively for you after your order has been submitted. Starting with leather hand-cutting and ending with stitching on the sole. Remember that certain customizations and artisan methods (such as Patina Finishing) take more time than others. It is possible that we will exceed the standard manufacturing time if you customize your order with them. In addition, we now offer a Fast Lane Option with a two-week delivery period

No. Sarto shoes are stylish, biomechanically sound shoes for the normally developed foot. They give maximum flexibility while protecting your foot. If you have been recommended an orthopedic shoe, you should seek a specialist’s advice.
We do not recommend machine washing our leather and suede shoes.
Sarto boots are 100% waterproof, and may be worn in wet areas. Our other shoes are not recommended for rain or snow. They may be worn outdoors, but preferably on dry surfaces.
We know it can be hard to determine your size when shopping online. The best way to get an accurate fit is to go by measurements, not just age or random size numbers that vary from brand to brand. View our sizing guide on the product page.
Our shoes range from size 5 to size 17.

Sarto Shoes offers a 14-day return policy for DEFECTS ONLY. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn and in the original packaging.

From the best tanneries in Europe, we source all of our leather for our custom shoes and boots.
Colors on our website may vary slightly depending on how your monitor is calibrated. While we make every effort to make sure our images represent the actual product you are buying, we cannot guarantee a precise match. This is due to almost limitless variations in home monitors. In addition, we use natural materials (leather hides). Each hide accepts antique creams/dyes differently, resulting in a slight color variation, which is beyond our control.
